Volunteer physicians along with the nursing staff donate hundreds of hours each year at AAS centres and camps to help the less privileged recover from health issues. But we have to rely on private donations to pay for the medical supplies. In association with our partner organisations we have provided free medicines, medical supplies, artificial limbs, wheel chairs, walkers etc. to more than 16,500 people till date.

In India, we commonly see that woman neglect their health while giving priority in looking after the members of her family. AAS Ashram is specifically concerned about the health issues of such women from the less privileged section of the society who often find it difficult to look after their health issues. Most of these women illiterate and suffer financiallywhich make it difficult for them to purchase medicines.
Apart from routine medicines and antibiotics, these women also require personal hygiene items like sanitary napkins, soap, hand wash, tooth brush, paste etc.

Moreover, all your donations are eligible for 50% tax exemption under section 80G on the Income Tax act 1961.
